En 20 días se han recogido en la Comunidad Valenciana casi 300 toneladas de equipo médico, incluyendo 12 millones de mascarillas. Hoy, según ha informado el gobierno, ha aterrizado el noveno vuelo en Manises que, con escala en Doha, ha transportado otras 53 toneladas de material sanitario. Este nuevo lote, que llegó en plena madrugada, está compuesto por 2.461.400 mascarillas (360.400 de ellas FFP2), 152.600 monos de protección EPI y 90.000 gafas de protección, según ha informado la Administración valenciana.
Estos vuelos están enmarcados en la denominada Ruta de la Seda, que consiste en abastecer a la comunidad levantina -de forma constante- con material sanitario procedente de China. El éxito del operativo logístico también se está viendo a nivel nacional, donde el abastecimiento comienza a percibirse de forma más contundente.
En total, incluido este último vuelo, ya han llegado a Valencia 12 millones de mascarillas, 6,8 millones de guantes, 642.851 monos de protección EPI y 347.600 gafas de protección, según han confirmado las mismas fuentes. La distribución de dicho material a las distintas provincias ha comenzado a ser efectiva desde hoy mismo.
